I like those songs, but I don't know if I like them enough to say they are better than what he did with Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant also did a stint with Rockpile on "Concerts for the People of Kampuchea", and vocals for "The Honeydrippers: Volume One." Music-wise it was a change in direction, and I think that his solo material proves he is an solid singer all-around.
