Like I said, it's been a decade since anyone even knew screamo was a thing, and I'm no longer nineteen, so it doesn't bother me anymore. If I say death metal and someone says... whatever deathcore band is popular these days, I don't really give a ****.
Honestly, I'd be more annoyed at the prospect of having to explain to someone the difference between the genres, especially since I know **** all about actual screamo. Just sounds like a pain in the ass.
