Nope, not anymore, we are almost fully americanized by this point.
We do still have a "look the other way" policy though which is what the school is asking us to do.
If your kid is being bullied in front of you, you'll either have to look the other way or make a pansy formal complain to the teacher that won't fix anything cause most times the parents of these little delinquents don't care enough to set them straight but care enough to get all defensive if you have a complain about them.
