Don't they call it "Canadian bacon" elsewhere in the US and also in Canada? I remember John Candy made a movie called
Canadian Bacon so I thought they called it "Canadian bacon" everywhere.
I think it is closer to a Salami than Bologna. It's not bad, a bit on the sweet side. Sometimes I make a BLT with pork roll, more like a PRLT. I like anything with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise on toast.
