Had some time off work last week so took some of the fly agaric that I picked. Jesus. What a horrible trip. Felt certain I was dying at several points
, collapsed into a sorta-coma which I kept slipping in and out of, and whenever I came to I felt like my brain was picking up electrical frequencies, I felt like a human antenna, really odd and unpleasant.
The worst part is I couldn't make sense of any of it. I don't mind weird trips when you feel you gained something - a snapshot of insight, some wisdom, when you come away having learned something about the world or yourself. But nothing. It was just horrible. And went on for way too long. Felt so relieved when the worst was over and I could get up and move around again.
Not sure I'll do fly agaric again. Not for a while anyway. Back to liberty caps for me.
