A couple of interesting selections, Trollheart!

Though I expected Pandora´s Box to be more musical, I have no problem with spoken word. As you say it´s got some rhythm, which makes it similar to poetry recital. That´s close enough to a capella for me.
The ending didn´t do much for me to be honest, but I really liked the body of the "song"; the imaginative list of losers and other undesirables was genuinely entertaining.

None the less, my vote goes to those country ladies for their version of a song that is more heartfelt, and relies less on the novelty factor. Plus Gillian Welch is a fave of mine, so it would be disloyal if I didn´t vote for her.

Box: still at 0
Country trio: 2

PS: I feel I did pretty well to identify Jim Steinman as one of the Meatloaf guys, but I´m afraid I won´t be exploring his solo projects on the basis of what I´ve heard here.
