i think what he means is that he cant get any lyrics to work with the music. ive had the same problems. i say, write the lyrics...and fit the songs around them. that way, youll get the lyrics you want...rather than some crappy stuff that fits....and you can rework some of the music that you already have, to fit those lyrics. thats what my band did....(before we split). and it seemed to work pretty well.
