Yeah, The Liverbirds were great! They were from Liverpool, and relocated to Hamburg to play in the Star Club alongside The Beatles. Unlike The Beatles, who made it big in the states, The Liverbirds were popular mostly in Germany.

The same thing kinda happened to Suzi Quatro, the lead singer of The Pleasure Seekers (the band that Screen13 posted up there). She relocated at the beginning of her solo career (from Detroit to the UK), and had a hard time breaking back into her home country, although she did eventually score a top ten hit on the american charts.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here's a fun song from the '60s:
