Last night I saw The Black Dahlia Murder, Goatwhore, Iron Reagan, and Entheos. The first band on the bill was Artificial Brain but I missed them. Everyone was great. I only caught the last few songs of Entheos' set but they sounded great. Iron Reagan was a complete surprise to me—badass classic crossover thrash and an amazing, entertaining as hell stage presence. Goatwhore, whose music I like but who seemed a little too serious last time I saw them live, were at the top of their game—balls to the walls playing and a fun, surprisingly lighthearted stage presence this time around. The Black Dahlia Murder were really good as well, maybe not quite as good as Goatwhore or Iron Reagan, but they still were fun and badass and their drummer is absolutely unbelievable live.
