First solo album I've gotten my hands on from the mastermind behind the soundtrack of the late 90's
Berserk anime and also a lot of Satoshi Kon's works. Odd but very listenable blend of technopop, Thai instrumentation and experimental electronica. Sometimes with bagpipes. Like
Gino Vannelli or perhaps
Wayne Coyne (
Flaming Lips), this is one guy who lives in a very strange and distinct musical world of his own...and you either accept it or you don't.
