Music Banter, how are we all doing?

UPDATE:

So, I've been counting up votes and I have the official Top 20 recorded and written down.
I had a database, then I had a power cut. So I no longer had the database. I'm using pen, paper and a calculator. But don't fret, it's all done and double checked.

I am in the process of trying to provide content for each entry which has included pestering you guys for your opinions on albums that made the cut through PM, if you haven't already been contacted you most likely will be soon.

I have also been sifting through every 2015 post in the Albums You're Digging thread looking for opinions on albums that will feature on this thread
(damn we need an improved search function that could take you to the exact page someone mentioned an artist instead of just the thread).
So you may have been already quoted without knowing it.

I'm hoping to start the list tomorrow if I can get some opinions regarding some of the albums in the latter stages of the list. If not, as I said earlier I will just put subjective reviews. (But subjective is boring, so if you could help me out that'd be great.)

Anyway thought I'd post some statistics you guys might find interesting

Music Banter Official 2015 Album of the Year List Facts:

The results are compiled from Album of the Year Lists from 20 different users

There was a total of 164 unique albums featured on those 20 lists.

And of these 20 lists, there were 16 unique number ones!

This is by far the most diverse list I've seen this year which is a credit to the vast spectrum of users that participate on this forum and the wide range of tastes that you all possess.

To hammer home this fact, artists who have dominated other websites' Album of the Year Lists such as Sufjan Stevens, Bjork (although narrowly), Grimes, Carly Rae Jepson, Drake and Joanna Newson all failed to make the Music Banter Top 20 which threw up a few surprise names as well as some that I haven't the faintest knowledge of.

Also on a side note as I did not mention this in the original post. Albums that are level on points will be ranked in accordance of firstly the number of lists they appeared on, if they are level on appearances then the album with the highest ranking on an individual list will be ranked higher on this list.

tl;dr

Results start tomorrow, thank you all for your contributions. Sorry if I pester you over the coming days.
