I discovered an early House track called No Way Back by Adonis last night, which was first released in 1986. However, one page about it said that Adonis was 19 when he created it (which would mean 1982-83), and another source said that Adonis took the demo around for a while before Trax Records got him a contract. Can anyone explain with some degree of accuracy when this piece was actually recorded, since it sounds quite influential on more recent music. Was it recorded circa 82-3, then released in 86, created 82-3 and rerecorded 86, or were the pages I found wrong, with it being created in 86?
