Music Banter - View Single Post - How do you organize your physical music collection?

I own a pretty good-sized CD collection of over 1,300 unique albums. They are all ripped on my PC and I thoroughly enjoy listening to them through my various devices.

I recently bought 3 songs from iTunes and a bunch of compilations from Bandcamp (along with artists who post their work for free). I originally didn't want the downloads to become mixed up with the CD rips that I have made, but I'm now seeing the joy in having all my music (free or purchased) play at random. Are downloads from iTunes/Bandcamp/etc. part of your collection?

EDIT: I'm not sure how my question can be conceived as organizing, as I asked clearly if downloads are part of your overall music collection. Searches on Google showed nothing of use, and I just wanted other users' opinions and such.
