It wouldn't be happening if females were not protected from birth against it. It would rightly be an outrage. Yet little boys are having their penis cut without their consent and it's not even against the law.

Hmm, if female genital mutilation was as ingrained into our culture as the male form, I think people would have similar attitudes.
