I see what you're saying about the mysterious figures advancing from left to right, but otherwise they're fairly different. The
Father Creeper cover has a verdant landscape with something engulfed in flame, reflected in a high-rise which I see as some kind of commentary about traditional versus modern life in South Africa (where Spoek Mathambo is from) whereas the
Dopesmoker re-release cover has a desert sci-fi vibe and makes me think of the Weedians and maybe a little of Dune.
