New Model Army - Vengeance (1984)
Wasn't too familiar with this band before but I'm enjoying the hell out of this anthemic post-punk album. Looking forward to checking out the rest of their discography.
The Butchies - Are We Not Femme? (1998)
Punk/indie rock band featuring the frontgirl from Team Dresch. This band is poppier and more accessible than Team Dresch and every bit as enjoyable. This is something that will appeal to Sleater-Kinney fans.
Chairlift - Moth (2016)
The first new release I've been anticipating this year and I'm not disappointed. This album certainly isn't consistent, then again neither was
Something. But it does have some killer pop gems like 'Romeo', 'Moth to the Flame' and 'Show U Off'.
