For many years --- well, months, I walked on paths about which I will not speak. But now, finally, after all this time, I have returned!

I'll be honest: I seriously thought this post would be one advising you all that I could no longer do this update, that it would have to be left aside. But then I thought about it some more and decided just to get it done. And so I have.

So expect the first update of 2016 on Sunday, though as you can imagine, there's a huge backlog for me to get through, so I hope you'll all bear with me while I take the time to catch up.
