And I have always been neutral about these guys. Kind of like songs here and there, never could actually consider them very good, maybe just this overblown mediocre band somehow pegged as this pioneering band of a genre ripe with industrial influence. I think if they had hit the scene maybe ten years later than they did. Then the band wouldn't be so renowned or regarded in such a positive way by so many. Let's be honest though. Pretty much. They're a heavier, less terrible version of Rob Zombie, and since most of us on MB don't particularly like Rob Zombie, that generally means we don't like them much better.

I give their first album a pass though, since it actually shows some connection with industrial metal, rather than just lame metal with lame electronica thrown in. The riff from "Rammstein" alone has pretty much saved me from the kind of knee-jerk contempt felt by my fellow forum members.
