Well said.
When I was a wee fella if the subject of religion was broached in our house a swift clip round the ears would ensue followed by "there'll be none of that talk in this house." so over a period of time I've learnt to dimiss it.
I do not believe for a moment that by going to church every Sunday will make me a better person, but there are people out there who do.These are the kind of religious zealots who give the rest a bad name.For example a lady who lives next to my mother believes my partner and me are sinners because we are not yet married.My mother countered her argument by telling her it's only a sin if you're looking at from a religious viewpoint..

I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't have a problem with people who choose to believe in god, it's the ones that take it one step further that irritate me.
