Yes, there are variations in audio quality
because they come from cassettes, scratchy LPs,
and a CD here and there, but you get some taste of
the original style in many tunes. Some are not strictly
mbalax, but have the underlying converging rhythm
of it with the sometimes funk/soul drums that show
the cross-breeding of styles.
