Meh. I honestly didn't get much of any kind of vibe for most of the movie. That first kill, where Leatherface just opens a door and matter-of-factly hits the guy in the head with a hammer, sealed the deal for me that I wasn't going to give much of a **** about the movie. I get that the director was going for a spontaneous-looking shot that you were expecting, just not in the way that it was executed, but it still felt like, "Oh, I guess that happened... so... next scene?"
