Then I'll explain mine. 1967 was the Summer of Love, the key year in one of my favorite genres: psychedelia.
1977 houses 3 of my favorite albums: Rumours, Bat Out of Hell (my top fave), and The Stranger, as well as many great punk albums.
2013 and 2015 are fir the same reason. The modern era hasn't impressed me very much, but these two years really stood out for me.
1987 had the opuses of Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, U2, GNR, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as Dinosaur Jr. It also had Bad, the second best Michael Jackson album. Forgive me for not mentioning Sister, but I can't get into noise rock.
1991 was the year of grunge, when it really started getting popular. Nevermind, Ten, Badmotorfinger, and more. Plus, Loveless.
1976 was the first year I really ever started exploring.
