One of the best has gotta be the Blues Brothers movie soundtracks for me - but not for those particular recordings, but to prompt me to dig out the old originals of the songs they do. Some great choice of numbers in those movies.
Better still - Good Morning Vietnam, which has all the original songs, but as a Brit I'm not really into the story.
