But it was still done from a pop standpoint. When I think of indie, I usually think of the underground scene or college radio. Anything DIY, that kind of disregards major musical trends and couldn't bother whether they make a quick buck or not. It's music for music's sake. Ed's music is different from this in that he sprang up during a time when folk pop like Mumford and Sons was on alternative radio 24/7. Just because he adds some Wiz Khalifa influence to the sound it doesn't make him experimental. His music was made for the studio.
