Best part of my day: The satisfying feeling of exhaustion following a streak of self-motivated accomplishments.
I worked on the house, wrote several articles, a few of which were instantly snatched up by a NYC news site, forged friendships with newly-discovered peers, challenged my social anxiety by venturing out to a cafe with my gear and meeting up with locals for inspiring discussion, wrote a critical piece on late capitalism, and started an exciting collaborative project with a fellow music critic in England.
It's been a busy weekend!
