Many thanks for answering my rather vague question so precisly, rostasi. I've never heard of Freytag's Pyramid, but I can see that it's a useful tool for analysing a variety of artistic performance. It reminded me a little of a sequence that Colin Wilson uses to look at an even broader spectrum of human activity, from exam-taking to sex, and that is "Tension-Release-Freedom." It's a sequence which explains, pinpoints that moment of euphoria we feel when we walk out of the dentist's with a new filling in place.
Anyway, I like the idea that sound is "an invitation to actually get rid of the frame around the window" and will re-listen to some of your electronica recs with that perception in mind.
