Ok, that was just what I inferred when you brought up other subgenres as if their existence disproved how diverse post hardcore is. That diversity is my key point in saying that there isn't a defined sound to the genre. Can you find similarities between different post hardcore artists? Obviously, but that doesn't mean that all post hardcore artists have a definitive link.
So atmospheric. So much emotional depth. Not aggressive like hardcore or anything.
