ive listened to Daydream Nation and Sister. Sister actually has one of my favorite songs from them
Catholic Block. To me SY doesn't sound like an 80's band or a 90's band for that matter, I can't tie their sound to a specific era however their image as a band i tie to the 90's.

You should know im not basing what im saying on research, im basing it on experience. i came to know GNR through Use Your Illusion. i was too young to remember anything before that although i do remember Welcome to the jungle being a huge hit.
