OMG why do I do this to myself?! I've now played several of the supposed "scariest games ever", like System Shock 2 and Condemned: Criminal Origins, and while I am not yet all that far into those games, none of them yet invoke the feeling of having to almost physically force myself just to move down a simple corridor the way Alien: Isolation does.
I don't know if it's the scariest game I will ever play, but if it's not then I don't want to play any of those games. I just launched the game, and as it was loading I noticed that I was breathing hard for no apparent reason, and I couldn't stop. This game has trained my subconscious to be so stressed by playing it that my heart can't even take a loading screen.
**** this ****ing game and **** me for being a masochist. Thank god I'm drunk.
