This certainly isn't the best version of the "Slayer-meets-Madball" version of meatheaded metalcore out there (see Arkangel, Stampin' Ground, and Merauder for that), but it is evidence that even the 2nd-tier bands are worth your time. This kind of low-rent metalcore feels like the real thrash revival, at least in spirit: meat and potatoes metal with more brawn than brains, but also a fair amount of heart. It's also proof that there are bands out there that can do this kind of thing without being as embarrassing as Hatebreed (though I do like me some Hatebreed when the mood strikes). I would gladly bump this when I'd tired of playing Carved from Empty Words or Dead Man Walking one too many times.
