You know what shocks me is the idea of professors giving trigger warnings. And I have a question about it. If a student states that a certain subject might be triggering are they then excused from it? Can you still get a psych degree if you refuse to be triggered by the topics of incest and rape? Can you get a history degree if you're triggered by the maltreatment of women and people of color? I'm not being snarky I'm seriously curious if people are getting out of doing coursework.
