Missing the bigger picture here. The school system coukd be amazing but how do you get the kids there or force them to learn? My friend teaches health/gym in a pretty bad school district and the stories i hear make it sound like a socisl support system would be the best thing for education even before improving the curriculm. When a 9-10 year old has the weight of a ****ed up parent(s) issues preventing them from physically making it to school or being able to focus when they are there then what is actually being taught goes out the window.
