5. Jandek - The Echoplex (2014) - I got to see ****ing Jandek.

4. Han Bennink - Got to meet him and ****.

3. Unknown band - saw these guys at a jazz club and they blew everyone's minds. It was as if Coltrane had reimagined Bitches Brew. Old ladies were dancing on the tables, there were jugglers, it was great. Astounding drummer.

2. The Magic Band - Got to see my favourite songs live when Rockette Morton was still touring with them (he's had heart complications these past few years so he's off the road now). They nailed it and I met Eric Drew Feldman in the audience, who did the synths and pianos on Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller) and Doc at the Radar Station.

1. Acid Mothers Temple - They put on such a brilliant performance, but what really made this memorable was that I was on too many drugs and passed out and pissed myself during a very intense rendition of Pink Lady Lemonade.
