It's pretty great revisiting albums you listened to a few years ago. This is certainly no acceptation. Nirvana was always great for me I loved punk and rock and when those 2 genres ****ed and had a baby, (or when kurt said if the Bay City Rollers got raped by Black Sabbath...), however you want to explain it it sounds great. There is something about grunge especially when a genius wants to create songs that reflect not only how they feel, but wear there influences on there sleeves by other people they respect and incorporate that in there music that's great.
