About that, I gather the sleep cycle is every 3-4 hours or so and you should enter REM (the dreaming state) at least twice a night to be healthy. If you don't, you start hallucinating and stuff in the real world. You only remember dreams if you're woken up while you're having them, if you don't get your slee disrupted at the right time then you won't remember the dream, simple as.
