I went from thinking this site was something like 50/50 between religious and nonreligious members when I first started to an understanding that that is not the case. I was in the minority. And knowing I am in the in the minority I put up a lot of defense mechanisms. One of the ways is to is not to get too personal about my faith, my personal life, even music I like. All that is is like being open for them to take potshots at you.

I really didn't take notice of mordwyr before this thread. If we had known each other then and he had asked me if he should start this kind of thread I would had advise him not to start it. I could probably predict and told him how every member would act, just from observing members here. Sometime I cringed what mordwyr said, because I know how this forum can be. I felt like he really didn't know what he was getting himself into, though for the most part I didn't care how they treated him.
