They are talking about communities helping each other to raise families as a collective. That's actually how it was for me growing up. When I was in grade school there was about a half dozen of us kids that hung together all of the time. We ate at each other's homes. Got scolded by each others parents if we messed up. Got driven around to little league games, etc. and cheered on by each others parents. I had a single mom working night shifts to pay the bills so I relied on some of my friends' moms a lot during the hours my mom would be sleeping.
That's the kinda **** they are talking about.
The fact that they don't single out the word "father", and the way you choose to interpret it is messed up. I'll assume that you have read each and every sentence of their entire mission statement. The fact that you've chosen to cherry pick those particular lines to make your point against the entire BLM movement is.... disturbing.
