The B-52's debut is fu
cking magic. It's an album that knows exactly what it wants to be, and goes for it. Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time. I even have a CD longbox of it.
Also, on the subject of
Speaking in Tongues, I know some people prefer the Talking Heads' earlier work, but I think it's a fine album. It's got one of my favorite songs of theirs:
I may not blast it out the window like
Fear of Music or
Remain in Light, but it's got a special place in my heart, you know?
