Whoops, I misread
that source and I'm not even sure where I got that number from. It's out of 990, but black deaths at the hands of police officers are still a good 10% higher than their population segment. The white and the hispanic population (though there is potentially some differences between the self reported versus what the pathologist determines when it comes to hispanics) are on the same level as their population percentage. Still an alarming disparity.
