I'm sure that's great for some people, but one thing I learned at military school is that when I think a superior is full of **** that I simply can't keep my mouth shut. That is not a good thing in the military.

Also, the basic lifestyle, while comforting in its way, is prone to abuse since the people ruling over you have no accountability unless they really **** up. And the people who tend to gain authority are very good at avoiding accountability, which is really just an extension of my first point, cause I'd probably say or do something in retaliation for some bull**** that would make sure that my career in the military was as short and undistinguished as possible.

So my desire to join the military died very, very quickly.
