Saw Thundercat and River Tiber last night at a local jazz fest. Thundercat was great, and I was impressed by the amount of free improv he and his bandmates worked into their set, and just how well they pulled it off. On top of that, he played a few tracks from TPAB and they sounded great live.
All in all I felt it was a pretty strong show, and for being my first jazz show of any sorts, it definitely has me interested in seeking out more in the future.
