Re the Rush posts, my top five would probably be:
Fly by Night
Hemispheres
Hold Your Fire
Presto
Signals
. . . Not sure of the order, though. I just listed them in alphabetical order.
And if I were to include live albums, All the World's a Stage would bump one of those out (probably Fly by Night because of the duplicated material). I love Different Stages, too, but that seems like it shouldn't really be part of a list like that.
Permanent Waves would be my top bubbling under studio album choice.
Also re the keyboard comments, it doesn't really matter to me what the instrumentation of anything is. And there aren't any timbres that I categorically dislike. But not only that--keyboard is one of my primary instruments (drums/percussion and bass are the others); I'm a huge Yes fan (including their 80s material), I'm a huge ELP fan, I'm a big fan of early Rick Wakeman solo albums, early Devo, early Residents (well, through the mid 80s at least), etc., so no keyboard sounds are going to dissuade me.
