I liked the song about the "four-penny bus ride". They get a lot of mileage haha out of a simple subject and I was particulary happy to recognise the places that are mentioned:

He's going from a built-up urban area to a leafy residential suburb, which fits the lyrics very well!

Both of the albums those songs were from are top-notch psych LP's and well worth a listen. Dantalian's Chariot were fronted by Zoot Money and featured a young Andy Summers on guitar.

I knew where Chiswick was but I'd never heard of Tooting before that song.

Here's another Floyd-esque song from an American musician formerly with Jefferson Airplane and Moby Grape...
