The
Dog & Partridge was the best pub in Bolton, but some c*nt tried killing himself by driving into the wall. He failed in that attempt. It hasn't been reopened and it looks likely to remain that way.
Ye Olde Man & Scythe is the current boozer of choice after the D&P was tragically put to an end. 4th oldest Pub in Britain, and a hub of paranormal activity.
I prefer pubs and probably clubs to bars. Bars need to make up their mind.
