I understood immediately what was enjoyable about microhouse, even though this is the first time I've ever heard it. I just took what I already knew about common electronic constructional techniques and themes, and applied it to microhouse. It didn't even take much of a thought process. I mean, if you don't try to understand a genre, there's the risk of never getting into it. Not saying this happens every time, but even in my noobish experience I've seen it happen to multiple people. Heck, it's the "transcendence of music" topic.
