None of those statements are facts. They're all expressions of how someone feels about his guitar playing, an expression of their preferences.
In other words, when expressions of one's preferences "apply"

In other words, "I can't realize that there are no correct or incorrect opinions about what's good or bad, better or worse, etc., when it comes to something like guitar-playing skill, so I'll make a judgment about one's intelligence, knowledge, experience-base etc. based on whether one's opinions are more in line with or further afield from my own."
