I don't know the Democratic Party was pretty splintered and dysfunctional in 68, if not more.
George Bush one two straight elections because he was able to court the Hispanic vote, Marco Rubio will most likely get more.
For me, Hillary Clinton is neo liberalism light, which might have been great in the 90's, but there is now a whole generation out there stuck with $hit jobs, that will never have the lifestyle or life expectancy your generation had in the 1970's. What good is a welfare state & social security if your only making $16 dollars an hour.
There is something considerably wrong when you have a democratic candidate who has the favor of the banks and corporate media over a Republican candidate. All the major labour unions are against the TPP, Trump will kill it, Hillary will sign it...whose the socialist here?
