It definitely makes you think about how tough **** really is. As a privileged white male from the burbs, I think my love of hiphop since a young age has definitely helped me to appreciate the struggles of less fortunate people as a whole, regardless of race, gender, etc.

It's worth noting that this isn't just a hip hop thing. Powerful lyrics from any genre influence people, it's part of why music is so amazing.
