Back in the late 1980s I heard an acapella version of Stand By Me that I thought was a stellar arrangement. I've done a bunch of Internet searches trying to locate it. There are lots of acapella versions out there but I've not hit on one that resonates with my memory.

So, does anyone recall an acapella recording of Stand By Me from the late 80s (or earlier)? I'm trying to track down the name of the group. I vaguely recall that this was an actual acapella group, not a group that happened to do an acapella tune.
