I can't stand having the seat up. I feel like germs are just floating around and going all over my toothbrush when it gets flushed. So I always keep the seat and lid down. My other half always leaves the seat down but lid up and it drives me crazy!!! I would leave the seat up to kind of teach her a lesson but it would end up bothering me too much knowing the lid is up to do something like that. So I will just stick to signs and constantly mentioning it to her.
